Founded in Memphis, TN by Charles F. Smith, Sr., National Guard Products
focused mainly on the residential window and door products. Over the
years National Guard Products has developed many commercial products and
working with the Architectural Hardware Institute in the development of
a curriculum to teach the importance of weather stripping as an
effective energy conservation.
Today,
with the purchasing of Chicago Metallics Prefinished Steel Frame
division, NationalGuard has again taken the opportunity to take the lead
in the prefinished steel frame industry.
Like Timley, and Rediframe, National Guard
Products offers sidelite frames, borrowed lites, a product that is
prefinished, labeled and easy to install. National Guards casings are
all pre-fitted with a patented Keeper Clip for perfectly mitered joints
